San Diego Happy Half Hour Podcast: Episode 17

Tune in for tons of restaurant news, plus expert advice on living La Vida Vegan in San Diego

Published:

In this week’s podcast, Erin Chambers Smith and Troy Johnson along with Erin Meanley Glenny (Archie will be back next week!) share the top stories from San Diego’s dining and drinking scene, including the reopening of Real Bar & Bistro in Solana Beach as Ember + Still (with more small plates and vegetarian offerings, and a kids play area). We also talk about Blackmarket Bakery opening its doors in Normal Heights, and Pappalecco’s expansion into Cardiff, Del Mar, and Kensington. Gelato for everyone!

Our special guest Odette Cressler shares her passion for and perspective on the local food scene. Her work in the industry has spanned from Croce’s (the original) to The Linkery to Waypoint Public to now working as a freelance writer and foodie. She currently pens our La Vida Vegan column in San Diego Magazine every month.
