MIHO Gastrotruck, the farm-to-table food truck that made my list of Best Restaurants of 2011, is gearing up to commemorate their first anniversary with a weeklong series of events they're calling a Celebration of Collaboration. A few highlights include Monday, June 13, when they'll pull up to Blind Lady Ale House for a MIHO pint glass giveaway and Wednesday, June 15, when the food truck will be parked two local breweries - from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. at AleSmith Brewing Co. and Ballast Point Brewing Co. from 4 p.m to 7.p.m as part of their ongoing Behind the Brewery collaboration.

North Park's El Take It Easy will debut their new cocktail and spirits lineup with a launch party tonight that starts at 6:30 p.m. Led by Dean James, formerly of San Francisco's Alembic bar - one of my favorite spots - ETIE's cocktail program centers around mescal, tequila and American whiskey spun into signature cocktails creations, including the tequila-spiked Paloma, flavored with hibiscus and homemade grapefruit soda.

The legendary La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla is serving up a fresh menu thanks to their new culinary director, Jason McLeod, former Executive Chef at the Grand Del Mar. Among the new dining attractions are their weekly Sunday Suppers in the Mediterranean Room, family-style three course dinners for $29 and a new series of wine and beer pairing dinners that will be held throughout the summer, including a July 20 dinner with Ballast Point Brewing Company.
