Trend Alert: Animal Prints

Judging by the abundance of animal-print everything in stores (and online), draping yourself with cheetah, tiger, zebra, or giraffe patterns is a big trend for Fall. Even though I generally prefer solids, I did cave and buy a pair of leopard-print boat shoes. I still have to see if I can make them work with khakis and a blousy t-shirt, so whether they'll remain in my wardrobe is TBD.

If you're up for adding an animal print item to your wardrobe, here are three ways to get the look for under $30:

From L-R: Women's Animal-Print Cardigan, $29.94 from Old Navy (also available in two different tones); Leopard Print Scarf, $9.80 from Forever 21; Guess Animal Print Heart Necklace, $27.00 from Zappos.

What do you think? Is this a trend you'll embrace, or are animal prints too wild for you?
