Bullets 2 Bandages, a San Diego company founded by two former Navy bomb technicians, takes previously fired bullets and turns them into bold statement jewelry. It’s a concept much like the trendy Akawelle, which also uses fired bullets to create its delicate pieces. Both organizations donate proceeds to charities—Bullets 2 Bandages benefits veterans and Akawelle aids war refugees. It’s tough jewelry with a lot of heart.
