First things first: where to stay. Check into the Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa and get ready to be pampered. Take a dip in one of the Westin Carlsbad’s four sparkling pools, book a tailor-made massage at the luxurious Ocean Pearl Spa, or just relax in your plush guest room. Be sure to stop by in-house eatery 20|Twenty for a cocktail and fine California cuisine.

Next up: time to explore. North County is full of activities and attractions, so there’s surely something for everyone. If you’re a regular on the city’s greens, you’ll love the links at The Crossings. The 18-hole championship golf course features sweeping coastal vistas and options to suit all skill levels. Plus, SoCal residents get a discount on greens fees.
