San Diego Top Lawyers 2020

Need a good lawyer? Everybody does, but it’s not always easy to figure out where to look for one. So with that in mind, we have a list that might be able to help you find the right lawyer.  To compile a comprehensive list of top lawyers in San Diego, we invited Martindale-Hubbell®, the company that has long set the standard for peer review ratings with more than 130 years of history and a database of over 1 million attorneys, to share its list of local lawyers who have reached the highest levels of ethical standards and professional excellence.

All of the attorneys on the list have been evaluated and given the highest ratings by their colleagues using Martindale-Hubbell’s Peer Review Ratings system, which includes each lawyer’s legal abilities as well as their ethical standards. Lawyers are ultimately given one of three final ratings: Notable, for lawyers recognized for their high ethical standards; Distinguished, for lawyers who are widely recognized by their peers for professional accomplishments and high level of ethics; and AV Preeminent, which is the highest possible rating, signifying lawyers who reach the highest level of professional excellence.

The Top Lawyers of 2020 list features more than 1,700 attorneys in hundreds of different law specialties, broken out alphabetically into four different pages. To learn more about these ratings and the complete methodology behind the ratings on this year’s list of Top Lawyers, visit Martindale-Hubbell’s website.
