E-scooter Injuries on the Rise

Electric scooters have become a familiar sight on San Diego streets. Convenience and cost are behind their soaring popularity, but often riders don’t realize their quick trip around the neighborhood could turn into a trip to the hospital. Local trauma units have seen dozens of riders who have suffered everything from head and facial injuries to broken backs and pelvises.
