Building for the Next Century

As Scripps approaches its 100th anniversary it begins to plan for 100 more years

San Diego can take comfort in knowing Scripps has been serving the community for nearly 100 years and will continue to give the region the care it deserves far into the future. One of the first considerations is infrastructure. Construction is under way at Scripps locations across San Diego, including the Prebys Cancer Center at Scripps Mercy Hospital and a new 433,000-square-foot hospital tower on the campus of Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. Parts of the county are expanding rapidly and Scripps is working to accommodate these growing communities with community support. Learn more about Scripps’ plans for 2021 and beyond.
