Industry vets Christian Siglin (Bracero, Cutwater Spirits) and Shane Gerde (UnderBelly) have transformed the former South Park Abbey space into a welcoming neighborhood bar with style, alongside spirit-forward drinks, sandwiches, wings, and cheese boards.

The city’s preeminent pizza slingers have debuted an Italian-style bistro slash bottega near their original restaurant on Beech Street. Look for charcuterie boards, pizza dough to go, and olive oil from owner Matteo Cattaneo’s family brand via Umbria, Italy. The sit-down menu features cheese plates, Roman-style pizza, and more.

What started as a farmers’ market stand by two Navy veterans has turned into a café set to open this month. They work directly with farmers, like an all-women coffee collective in Vietnam, to source beans.
