Sign4Baby: Don’t let little Junior fall behind. It seems all the hip kids are learning to sign their basic needs ("I’m hungry," "I’m full" and, of course, "No!") before they can speak them these days. The folks at Sign4Baby offer a series of classes and workshops to teach hearing babies and parents the basics of American Sign Language.

Montevalle Park’s Recreation Center

Situated in the Rolling Hills Ranch area, the 29-acre park's center offers tennis courts, baseball fields, a dog park and a 20,000+-square-foot recreational facility with classrooms and a full-service gym.

Cartooning: Create your own superhero story just in time for Comic-Con. Tuesday evening classes run for 10 weeks. $38 for the session if you’re a Chula Vista resident, $48 for nonresidents.
