Tweet-ups are so 2010. OK, not really. We still host ‘em @SanDiegoMag and I go to lots of them, but we thought our social media friends and followers deserved a stepped-up event this summer. So we’re throwing a party! A San Diego Magazine-style soirée (read: food and booze will be flowing + sips and samples from San Diego area restaurants like Donovan's Prime Seafood, Melting Pot and Blue Point Coastal Cuisine ) at the W Hotel to celebrate YOU, for tweeting, following, commenting, liking, and just becoming part of the family. RSVP and get tickets here, and I’ll see you June 10th. (*Actually, I'll be prancing around in a floor-length, apple-green, chiffon dress at my best friend's wedding in Sacramento. But I have figured out a clever, so-social media way to be in two places at once. Stay tuned for more details on this amazing feat!)

And here's a quick shout-out to our Twitter HIT LIST for this event -- our favorite  friends and followers who help make San Diego a great place to tweet, follow and be followed. Follow these folks, and I hope to see you all there:
