If you’re like me, your skills in the automobile department are limited at best. But thanks to Exalt Motorsports, there’s hope for us. Exalt has cooked up something new called the Savvy Women’s Car Clinic.

This Saturday, April 2 from 12 to 2 p.m., the car clinic will be geared towards women to help us learn the basics of caring for our cars in a fabulous and open environment. While sampling tasty hors d' oeuvres, wine and select desserts, you’ll have the opportunity to learn all about keeping your vehicle in pristine condition. Topics to be discussed include checking the oil, tire air pressure, fluids, steering, suspension and any other visual warning indicators.

Exalt is holding these clinics the first Saturday of the month, April to June from 12-2. The May 7th event will be called "Lipstick & Dipsticks."

If you can’t make it this Saturday or any Saturday, half-hour clinics are always available, weekdays by appointment only.

And if you have children in tow, no problem. "We are the first shop in Southern California to have Mommy-and-Me playdates while parents get their oil changed or have their scheduled monthly maintenance," says Rosa Knight, mom of two toddlers and co-owner of Exalt, says, "It is my priority to accommodate moms while servicing their cars. We are kid-friendly and have a play area, activities and snacks for kids while they wait."
