Flying Pig II will have the same architectural salvage vibe as the original, but it’ll steer more rustic Italian influenced by peasant food, Basque, etc. "My cooking background is Italian," says owner Roddy Browning. "I don’t want to talk trash, but it seems the execution on a lot of Italian food is just off. It’s more American-Italian style food. Not everything is marinara sauce and cheese."
