Sweet Tooth: Cupcakes from Elizabethan Desserts

Cupcakes tend to be pretty darned cute on their own, but Elizabethan Desserts really increases the cuteness factor with their adorable line of cupcakes, offered in both mini ($1.75) and full size ($3.25) versions.

Elizabethan offers flavors from the classics (red velvet, chocolate, white) to more unique flavors (churro, cotton candy, and more). All cupcakes are dressed up with adorable decorations and clever names. A simple white cupcake is called the "Plain Jane" but is anything but plain with the beautiful flowers piped on top.

Some of my favorites include the Churro cupcake (cinnamon cake topped with a mini churro stick ) and The Mustachio (a pistachio cupcake decorated with a mustache).

Cupcakes are baked fresh daily and tend to run out by the late afternoon, so go early for the best selection. The bakery is nestled inside a nursery. Once you arrive, simply follow the signs pointing you towards the little bundles of sweetness.
