Whether you can’t get enough of the wine in Valle de Guadalupe or are just curious about venturing south, this new subscription plan will uncork those dilemmas for you. Every quarter, they’ll send you three bottles of wine from boutique vintners in Baja that produce less than 2,500 cases annually, and the membership includes discounts at partner wineries, invitations to local wine tastings, and a credit to visit the Valle. The basic “Baja Explorer” package is $95 a quarter, and a limited number of premium memberships ($150 a quarter) let you choose your wines and get you a $250 wine tour credit. ¡Salud! enjoyvalle

This new bimonthly pop-up pairs a multicourse dinner and drinks with live classical chamber music. Started by Rebecca Matayoshi, a violinist with the Hawaii and San Diego symphonies, each dinner features a different guest musician, and the chef builds a menu with three to six prix-fixe courses inspired by songs from artists like Beethoven and Mendelssohn. There’s the option to upgrade with beer or wine pairings, and a limited number of free tickets are available for people who just want to listen in and hang out. Curated by Jason and Victoria O’Bryan, bar manager at The Lion’s Share and former advanced sommelier at Addison, respectively, this fine-supper club sells out every month—but don’t worry, there’s a wait list if you’re not one of the lucky 16 people to snag a seat. Tickets run up to $185 and cover wine, tax, tip, and a nine-course tasting menu that’s kept under wraps until the night of the event. The always-changing location for the dinner is revealed at time of purchase.
