About Park Dental Arts
Dr. Peggy Curtis and Dr. Hilda Thompson of Park Dental Arts are experienced innovators at the forefront of modern dentistry. At the same time, they have an old-fashioned commitment to high-quality service. Both Dr. Curtis and Dr. Thompson have been selected as two of Americas Top Dentists by the Consumers Research Council of America. They offer a combined three decades of commitment to caring and comfort. “Our goal is to treat patients like family and help them feel the pride that comes from a beautiful smile,” Dr. Curtis says. Park Dental Arts offers Invisalign (clear braces), implants, conscious sedation, veneers, tooth-colored fillings, individualized periodontal (gum) therapy, and more. They strive to stay on the leading edge of dental technological advances and research. The doctors are able to detect cavities in their earlier stages with Sopro imaging. This light-based evaluation system allows the dentists to detect hidden tooth decay. In addition, the dentists use digital X-rays, laser-assisted periodontal therapy, and Sapphire light teeth whitening. Dr. Curtis and Dr. Thompson and their staff are committed to putting patients at ease and to taking the time to answer any questions patients may ask. The office atmosphere is warm, calm, and relaxing. Patients can undergo their treatments while watching television or listening to their favorite music. Dr. Curtis has been improving smiles since 1985. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. In Michigan, she was the director of the School Dental Health Program for the City of Detroit. In San Diego, Dr. Curtis was the dental director of the San Diego American Indian Health Center and has also served as the dental consultant for San Diego’s Neighborhood House Head Start Program. Dr. Thompson’s mother, three uncles, and her sister are also dentists. She graduated from one of the top dental universities in Mexico and went on to study at UCLA’s School of Dentistry. She is also certified by the Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation. “Our job is to help our patients feel free to smile at the world,” says Dr. Thompson. “Ultimately, dentistry is about more than treating teeth. It’s about caring for people.”
