For centuries the prolific painter Raphael has dominated the world with his academic tradition of European painting. His works of art are known to be legendary, rare and revel the greats such as Leonardo and Michelangelo. The Timken Museum of Art is fortunate enough to have on loan from the National Gallery in London, the original Raphael, The Madonna of the Pinks, on exhibition from December 19th, 2014 through April 26th, 2015. Raphael’s, The Madonna of the Pinks is a priceless wonder that has enchanted art connoisseurs for centuries. This piece is one of the exceptional loans the Timken Museum of Art will be exhibiting in the coming months.  The exhibition of The Madonna of the Pinks by Raphael begins on December 19th, 2014 at 10am and will continue through the New Year until April 26th, 2015. The museum has free admission to visitors, memberships are available to those interested and guided tours are available as well.
