Building Steam explores the origins of steam locomotives in Britain, who created them, and their spread from the United Kingdom to rest of the world! This exhibit also examines the introduction of the first public and modern railways, the railway mania that transpired, and the end of the steam locomotive era as diesel and electric locomotives became more popular. Museum Hours: Tuesday – Friday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday – Sunday: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Closed Mondays; except holiday Mondays


$11.50 for Adults (ages 15-64); $6.00 for Kids (ages 6-14); Kids 5 & under FREE
