On view until March 19, 2020. Drawn from the Museum’s collection, the exhibition explores artworks that address and represent the landscape, featuring artists working across many decades and in various media, including sculpture, performance documentation, and video. As our relationship to natural resources continues to change, these artworks highlight materials that are often overlooked, exploring their many cultural and symbolic meanings.

MCASD is the San Diego/Tijuana region’s foremost forum devoted to contemporary art. At MCASD Downtown, experience contemporary art in a historic setting - the Jacobs Building, formerly the Santa Fe Depot baggage building.
