Kim attributes her success to her ability to execute, and believes execution is what makes the difference between success and failure. She believes execution is a skill that can be mastered, and actively seeks to teach it and share with others. Supporting women and aspiring entrepreneurs are two of Kim’s passions. Over 44% of Amobee’s managers are female, with a significant female leadership presence. Kim is also an early stage investor in over 70 start-ups, 12 of which have been acquired.

Robinson is passionate about advancing the cause for women in technology, encouraging young women to be bold and confident—to take risks—and one of her current initiatives is developing internship and associate programs for high school and college graduates for entry-level positions in IT.
“I am excited about our continued expansion in California,” she says, “and providing mentorship and development programs for young women interested in technology.”

The Woman of Tailored Hair for Men
In life, it’s easy to forget to take time for yourself. Tailored Hair for Men encourages clients to take an hour each month to come in, sit back, and enjoy the “Tailored Experience.” Founder Lizzy Broughton spent a decade developing her skills in men’s grooming before opening the shop as a one-chair studio in 2012. Today, the shop has grown to multiple chairs in the heart of the East Village with a second location on the way. “I saw a huge gap between traditional women’s salons and barbershops. I opened a space for the man who wanted an experience-based service with someone who specialized in men’s haircutting.”
