Maretalia Ristorante has taken over the Vigilucci’s space in Coronado, serving seafood-heavy entrées and house-made pastas.

Protein bowls, breakfast all day, and espresso drinks are on the menu at the new Parakeet Café in La Jolla.

Snooze is bringing their famous pancakes, Benedicts, and boozy morning beverages to its newest location, opening this month in La Jolla.

LA–based gourmet sandwich maker Mendocino Farms has opened a second San Diego outpost, in Del Mar.

Culture Brewing Co is bringing more beer to Encinitas. Their third location is now open in the North County city.

Tasting Room Del Mar, which opened last June with an extensive menu of wine, craft beer, and small plates, has shuttered.

The former coffee-and-beer bar at Liberty Station’s Moniker General boutique is now The Bar at Moniker General, serving cocktails and all-day gourmet toast, and includes a gated patio.

After 45 years in the East Village, Salazar’s Fine Mexican Food has closed its doors.
