September 14:

Tap into your classic rock roots and celebrate The Who “Hits 50!” on the band’s anniversary tour.

September 18:

The San Diego Festival of Beer turns 21 at Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier.

Go acoustic with alt-rock powerhouse Chris Cornell, live on stage at the Balboa Theatre.

New music fest KAABOO takes over the Del Mar Fairgrounds with three days of big-name bands, from No Doubt and the Killers to Zac Brown Band and 311.

September 19:

Walk the plank, matey, in honor of Landlubbers Day at Seaport Village, featuring a scavenger hunt, discounted “pirate’s booty,” and a pirate costume contest.

Feel the need—the need for speed at the Fleet Week Coronado Speed Festival

September 20:

September 22:

September 26:

Celebrate the sea at the two-day Oceanside Harbor Days festival.

September 29:
