Market Restaurant + Bar in Del Mar is undergoing a cosmetic renovation with the help of Basile Studios. It should reopen at the end of October. 3702 Via de la Valle

The owner of Bleu Bohème in Kensington plans to open a Champagne bar downtown later this year, at the corner of Sixth Avenue and F Street. 545 F Street

Vista will get a new neighborhood eatery next year when Urge: Craft opens with a wide selection of local craft beers—and a bowling alley. 1928 Hacienda Drive

Fancy Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chao is now open in the former Gaslamp location of Borders. 668 Sixth Avenue

Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria is coming soon to Hillcrest in the former Freebirds space, the second location for the pizza chain that first opened in La Jolla. 3958 Fifth Avenue

A new bar called Coin-Op Game Room is set to debut in North Park later this year, from the chef and owners behind downtown’s Lion’s Share. 3926 30th Street

Chef Monica Szepesyis moving her popular Peruvian restaurant, Q’ero, from Encinitas to bigger digs in Cardiff. 815 Birmingham Drive
