We love the new prints coming out of local design shop Orange & Park. Created by childhood friends and Coronado natives John McCauley and David Klinker, the silk-screen prints depict graphic maps of the Coronado, San Diego and California coastlines with typographic displays of local street names, beaches and neighborhoods. Priced between $17 and $25 unframed, the prints are already popping up in restaurants and galleries like Coronado Brewing Company and Java Jones. But the guys maintain that Orange & Park is strictly a side business for now, and they aren’t quitting their day jobs (McCauly’s a CPA; Klinker works in manufacturing) anytime soon. “It’s just one giant experiment,” says McCauly. orangeandpark.com.
