Her Favorite Things:
We recently purchased an artwork by Collective Magpie and it inspired an entire redesign of our dining area. Regal blue saddle dining chairs, $296, West Elm; George Nelson crisscross saucer pendant lamp, $359, Design Within Reach
Friday night at Sbicca in Del Mar is the best way to unwind. I always order a Ketel One martini and fish tacos. 215 15th Street, Del Mar
Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles and the patron of arts and sciences. This travel-sized statue of him was a gift. I keep it as a source of inspiration when obstacles present themselves.
I love contemporary jewelry with clean lines. Stella McCartney silver circular pendant necklace (as seen on Berchtold), $575, ssense.com
A beautifully made and well-structured, but feminine, white blouse is a fashion staple. Kimora Lee Simmons silk tie blouse, $460, kls.com
My husband brings me fresh flowers every week. My favorites are peonies. “Roses as big as cabbages.” That’s how the explorer Marco Polo described peonies when he first saw them.
One of my favorite local artists is Raul Guerrero. The latest acquisition took me five years to pull the trigger on-but I finally did- and I love it! Las Indias, 2006, raulguerrero.com
The folks at Hi-Tech Bikes are pros at fitting you on the right bike! Scott Foil Premium road bike, $2,900, 7638 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, Kearny Mesa
Some women collect shoes; I collect bikinis (for beach volleyball). Triangl crochet and neoprene bikini, $89,
