Put the “Move” in “Movember”

Health advocates and fans of not shaving welcome us to Movember

Published:

Last November, San Diegans raised more than $394,000 for the Movember Foundation, which is “committed to changing the face of men’s health.” Translation: grow a ’stache for the month of “Movember” to promote awareness of prostate and testicular cancers and mental health challenges. Programming includes a Shave the Date event with a celeb poker tourney (Movember 1 at at Harrah’s Resort Southern California), a gala Movember 29 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds (concert: CAKE!), and, for the first time in SD, the Mustache Dache 5K, Movember 8. movember.com
