Current job: Tipton just signed with a leading department store (details to come), and is meeting with investors to help take her designs into production.
Background: She graduated from University City High School and Fashion Careers College. In 2015, she beat out 15 designers on the Lifetime reality show Project Runway, and became the show’s first contestant to present a plus-size collection at New York Fashion Week.
Personal style: “Unique, and depends how I feel on any given day.”
Fashion philosophy: “When you look good, you feel good, and first impressions say everything about who you are. Your personality will shine through your clothing.”
