Humble Beginnings

A facility in San Marcos producing 2,100 barrels annually (now 325,000)

Highlights

Expanded to Escondido, and later added five satellite locations and a second bistro and brewery in Liberty Station—and that was all before they became the first American craft beer company to open a brewery in Europe (Berlin). Next up? A huge production facility in Richmond,  Virginia.

Our lofty and exciting projects are priming us to spread San Diego–style beers around the globe! Stone will always stay true to the craft beer ethos, and selling our company to Big Beer is not in our future.  We’re enormously proud to be part of San Diego’s vibrant brewing community, which in just 20 years has become an international craft beer mecca.
