Freakshake: It sounds like a dance move, but a calorie burner it is not. At Facing East Noodle & Bar, a modern Taiwanese restaurant where David Guetta and Taylor Swift videos are projected on the wall, the desserts are as loud as the music.

The Freakshake is deceptively simple, with vanilla ice cream on the inside, a crown of whipped cream, and all kinds of goodies piled on or artfully affixed to the outside.

Other flavors include chocolate brownie, salted caramel pretzel, cookies and cream, peanut butter pretzel, tiramisu, and sea urchin cotton candy (yes, you read that correctly). Each one is $8—and totally shareable.
