Located in Tijuana’s La Ermita neighborhood, the quaint Clamatos Bebe is known for the many renditions of its namesake drink. Clamato, the tomato–clam juice blend typically paired with surf and turf add-ons, is said to be a cure-all after a night on the town but also delightful as a snack between meals, or even a dish on its own when fully loaded. With Clamatos Bebe’s mix-and-match method, you construct your clamato with fixings such as beef jerky (our favorite), shrimp, olives, pickled pigskins, crunchy churrito snacks, and spicy tamarind candies. Together, it’s salty, spicy, and slightly tangy to the very last drop.
