Job Description:
Getting High Tech High students into college. I was the first member of my family to attend college, so I believe in the work I do.

Best Moment at Work:
When a first-generation college student comes into my office to ask about applying to college, I get so fired up!

Worst Moment at Work:
Dealing with college affordability with a middle-income family who doesn’t qualify for need-based financial aid.  

Doing the Numbers:
40 percent of SD high school graduates attend college. 75 percent of High Tech graduates attend college.

First Job:
Angelo’s Pizza in Chula Vista—I handled every responsibility, from dishwasher to cashier.
