June 1:

Rainbow grilled cheese, unicorn ice cream sandwiches, and the “Cocoa Cabana” speakeasy? It’s all at the San Diego County Fair at Del Mar Fairgrounds, which touts a candy-coated theme, “How Sweet It Is,” this year (through 7/4).

Sip your way through the Beer & Sake Festival, featuring taiko drumming, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction, at Harrah’s Resort Southern California.

Catch a classical concert during the 30th annual Mainly Mozart Festival, held at various venues around San Diego County (through 6/24).

June 2:

See Art Around Adams, featuring more than 100 exhibiting artists, as well as music and entertainment, along a two-mile route in Normal Heights.

Find yourself “stuck like glue” to Sugarland’s country croons when the duo performs at Del Mar Fairgrounds.

June 5:

Explore your inner animal instincts at the world premiere of The Squirrels at La Jolla Playhouse (through 7/8).

June 7:

Savor seasonal ingredients during the monthly Artisan Table Series at The Lodge at Torrey Pines’ A.R. Valentien, which features a new guest chef for each dinner. This month, look for famed Valle de Guadalupe chef Drew Deckman in the kitchen.

Come out for the four-day San Diego LGBT Film Festival, celebrating its 20th anniversary at The Observatory North Park.

June 8:

Enjoy traditional food, pastries, music, and dance during the three-day San Diego Greek Festival at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church.

Expect a barrel of laughs as comedian Jim Gaffigan hits the stage at Del Mar Fairgrounds.

Acclaimed composer Yanni brings his contemporary instrumental music to the Civic Theatre.

June 9:
