Where

Start at Robert Frazee Beach on Carlsbad Boulevard. Follow the beach trail south all the way to La Costa Avenue for a longer run.

Why We Love It

This trail keeps you in ocean breezes and views the entire way. It also traces a portion of the Carlsbad Marathon (returning next January), for those who want to get a practice run in.

 

Where to Refuel

Try crème brûlée stuffed French toast or omelets and breakfast sandwiches at Cafe Elysa (3076 Carlsbad Boulevard).
