Tastemaker: Bianca Wickers

The e-boutique owner offers a peek at her treasured favorites

Published:

Age: 37
Neighborhood: San Marcos
Current Project: Owner and creative director of bink & boo
Background: After the former marketing consultant lost her job while on maternity leave, she created her online shop and lifestyle brand, which repurposes vintage fabrics into stylish, limited-edition clothing and accessories.
Fashion philosophy: “Be on trend. Not trendy. Collected style—pieces with a little history behind them—is more interesting.”
Personal Style: Colorful, fun, and vintage. “My hairstyle accounts for 95 percent of my personal style!”

Her Favorite Things:

“Keep your little babe clean and cute in these traditional-style bink & boo bibs created with vibrant vintage fabrics.” Flower power bib, $18, binkandboo.com

“I was first introduced to Wary Meyers and their rad candles by my friends at Gunn & Swain, but it’s their glycerin soaps that I can’t get enough of. They are my go-to hostess and housewarming gift.” $14 each, warymeyers.com

“The Royal Palms Resort in Phoenix feels less like a resort and more like a private villa. It’s my go-to getaway when I need to feel totally removed from everyday life and get off the grid.” royalpalmshotel.com

Calypso St. Barth always has a dreamy collection of beautiful dresses and tunics that appeal to my romantic, bohemian side.” Keppi smocked chambray dress, $295,
calypsostbarth.com

“These shoes by Painted Bird are so comfortable, and they’re the perfect punch of fun with my jeans and T-shirt uniform.” $68, shoppaintedbird.com

“I am a sucker for good packaging and great product. Health-Ade is so refreshing, crisp, and light.” $5, health-ade.com

“I am crushing hard on so many designers and talents out of Australia right now, but Millie is a favorite! I stumbled across her Instagram account (@MillieFairhall) and have been coveting her serving boards and wooden utensils.” $35–$140, themilliestudio.com

“I love the weight of these Kamp & Co. towels —perfect for the beach, camping, and picnics. The prints, colors, and design details are all just so good. Plus the designer is a local! $129–$280, kampandco.com
