This outdoor surfboard shower, designed by local artists Will and Jane Fowler, is crafted from an old surf- board with mosaic details made of flat glass and recycled mirrors. The sustainable designs are also easy to install, and can be hooked up to a garden hose. We spotted one at a photo shoot for this month’s feature on page 88. Homeowner Shannon Lerach had seen the idea in San Diego Magazine a few years ago. She tore out the page, saving it as inspiration for her future dream house. When she eventually tracked down the artists, it turned out that they lived right down the street!
