Try This Bold New Drink at Café Gratitude

The Little Italy restaurant's new wellness shot is flying off shelves thanks to one unique ingredient

Adding to Café Gratitude’s many popular wellness shots—like the potent Brave immunity boost—comes a “budding” blend, the Chill CBD oil shot. The organic drink ($12 for 4 ounces) has been flying off the shelves, thanks to its unique ingredients, which include turmeric, lime, cucumber, spinach, celery, mint, and cannabidiol (CBD) oil.

The compound is commonly found in marijuana, but unlike THC—the compound that imparts the “high”—CBD has zero psychoactive effects and offers medicinal benefits that have earned the drug credibility as a therapeutic treatment. CBD regulates mood, reduces anxiety, and is rich in antioxidants, and the plant-based Little Italy eatery uses sustainable, high-integrity CBD oil from Ojai, all packaged in an eco-conscious glass vial. A little green can go a long way.
