Rustic R&R: The Ranch at Live Oak

Published:

Now’s that magical (er, miserable) time of year when we swear off cookies and eggnog in favor of kale salads and green juice. But for many of us, the resolve to keep our resolutions lasts a millisecond at best—which is why we’re crushing on The Ranch at Live Oak. Its plush accommodations and serene environs make for a haute detox. Workout classes range from self-defense to dance, with morning hikes, yoga, daily massages, and more. Healthy meals are served in a communal setting ripe for camaraderie or commiserating.

The ranch offers a seven-day program in Malibu (starting at $6,800) and a four-day jump start at the Four Seasons Westlake Village (starting at $4,100). Here’s to seeing those resolutions through in 2016!
