Private Schools in San Diego 2015

Published:

Choosing a path to private-school education is a decision that requires thought and careful preparation. With more than 30,000 private schools in the nation—roughly one-quarter of all U.S. schools—it’s clearly a decision more and more parents are making for their children. According to the Council for American Private Education, 10 percent of students in grades K-12 attend private schools across the country. That’s more than 5.2 million students attending private-based institutions and reaping benefits like high academic achievement, access to varied extracurricular activities and the arts, and the focused attention of smaller school size. In fact, 86 percent of U.S. private schools have fewer than 300 students. Is private school right for your family? Read on to find out.
