Oscar’s Mexican Seafood has opened its first North County outpost in Encinitas.

Pizza has landed in Bird Rock with the opening of Wheat & Water.



After a 70-year tenure along San Diego’s bayfront, Anthony’s Fish Grotto has closed its Embarcadero restaurant.



Salt & Cleaver has shuttered after three years of sausage, beer, and cocktails in Hillcrest.



Due this month in Encinitas, The Crack Shack will open in the former Coco’s restaurant space with espresso drinks from Lofty Coffee Co.



New in Ocean Beach, Voltaire Beach House is serving American cuisine in a laid-back space with plenty of patio seating.



Chef Javier Plascencia has parted ways with Bracero in Little Italy and Bonita’s Romesco Mexiterranean Bistro.



Moto Deli is now open in Encinitas, serving sandwiches, open-faced tartines, and house-made charcuterie.



Newtopia Cyder, a tasting room for handcrafted cider, has debuted in Scripps Ranch.
