BBB Torch Awards: Toyota of El Cajon

100 to 250 employees

Strong ethics and a solid commitment to customer service are built into the foundation of Toyota of El Cajon, one of the few remaining family-owned auto dealerships in the San Diego region.

“When you come to our dealership, you’re not a number. You’re family,” says dealer principal/owner Greg Kaminsky. “Our associates know we will support any decision they make to give our customers a positive experience. They are completely focused on how the customer is feeling and what the customer needs.”
This customer-first philosophy extends to Toyota Certified Center of Santee, which is proud of its reputation as an excellent repair facility for all makes and models and trustworthy sales location for pre-owned vehicles.

"Operating with integrity, honesty, respect and social responsibility has always been a top priority for us."

“Operating with integrity, honesty, respect and social responsibility has always been a top priority for us,” Kaminsky says. Thanks to its commitment to the environment, Toyota of El Cajon is the first and only LEED-certified auto dealership in San Diego County and home of the first LEED-certified building in El Cajon and Santee. “In keeping with its low carbon footprint, Toyota of El Cajon plants a tree for every car sold to enhance the community of San Diego,” Kaminsky explains. “The dealership also supports community organizations and charities through blood drives, sponsorship of concerts and more.”

The Toyota car company has repeatedly honored Toyota of El Cajon for its achievements in sales, service and guest satisfaction. The awards reflect the dealership’s mission statement: “To exceed customer expectations by empowering our associates to make a positive difference every day.”
