San Diego Magazine and Univision San Diego will celebrate accomplishments of San Diego's most distinguished Latino leaders in the following categories:

  • Entrepreneur of the Year
  • Inspirational Leader
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Pre-announced Lifetime Achievement Award

Event Overview

The event is an opportunity for corporate and entrepreneur Latino leaders of all ages and industries to connect and form meaningful relationships. Professional Latinos who want to benefit from a network-effect of like-minded business leaders won’t want to miss this event. San Diego Magazine will name 4 award winners and celebrate the list of nominees as published in the October issue.

Timeline

6:00 p.m. Networking hour including hosted hors d'oeuvres and beverages
7:30 p.m. Special presentation of the pre-announced Lifetime Achievement Award followed by the announcement of the Cross-Border Leader, Entrepreneur of the Year, Inspirational Leader and Volunteer of the Year
Emcee for the evening: Dr. Diane Perez, host of Despierta San Diego on Univision
8:00 p.m. Coffee and dessert

Judging and Advisory Panel

San Diego Magazine would like to extend a thank you to its judging and advisory panel who will work with executive staff of San Diego Magazine to select the four winners at the 2014 Latinos Making a Difference Awards. The panel has guided San Diego Magazine in the process of establishing the 2014 Latinos Making a Difference Awards. The panel cannot be nominated, however, others within their organizations may be nominated.
