New designs at Hotel Bel-Air in Hollywood
As part of a $12 million refresh, designer Alexandra Champalimaud has redone Hotel Bel-Air’s 103 guestrooms, blending modern touches with elements of Hollywood’s Golden Age. The new Canyon Suites are designed with blonde wood ceilings, private spa pools, and outdoor fireplaces. The reinvented restaurant, Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air, offers al fresco dining where guests can sample creamy burrata with Adriatic figs and people-watch (Hello, stars of Glee canoodling in the corner; good afternoon, Mrs. Reagan—we see you still favor red). Not into celebs? A trio of swans lives on the 12-acre property. Chic!
