Own a business? Why not combine team building with volunteerism? Here are seven ways you and your employees can work together to give back to the community.

County Parks and Recreation

Any size group is welcome to clean up, plant trees and other vegetation, or maintain trails at parks around the county.

Fleet Science Center

Up to 40 people at a time can organize supplies for Fleet’s community programs, build projects for classrooms, paint, clean, or help renovate.

Mama’s Kitchen

Groups of 6 to 20 employees can help put together meals and snacks that will be delivered to San Diegans living with AIDS or cancer.

Meals on Wheels

Groups of eight or more can adopt a route and deliver meals a few times a month. Or, create “We Care” packages to remind seniors they’re not forgotten.

San Diego Food Bank
