Where:

Park on Highland Valley Road in Ramona and follow the Meadow Loop to the left. When you hit the main trail, turn left again to reach the Wildflower Loop, which you can follow in either direction—it’ll circle back to the same point. Retrace your steps on the Meadow Loop or take a shortcut on the main trail

back to the parking lot.

Why We Love It:

The rains should mean beautiful wildflower blooms in early spring. Watch for hawks and other birds circling overhead.

Where to Refuel Afterward:

Get brunch, lunch, mimosas, or beers at Urge American Gastropub (16761 Bernardo Center Drive) in Rancho Bernardo, or try the local Ramona Cafe (628 Main Street) for traditional diner fare.
