Get set to spread your wings at the brand-new iFly. SD’s first indoor skydiving venue features a 50-foot wind tunnel, where flyers can feel the sensation of free-falling at wind speeds of about 120 miles per hour. Flights typically last two minutes—three times longer than an actual skydive free fall (usually 35 to 40 seconds). All ages and skill levels are welcome, even though it’s a surprisingly athletic experience.

“It works your shoulders, lower back, and core,” says instructor Tom Holmes, who has trained Navy SEALs, marines, and more at the facility. “World champions have been made inside these tubes.” Prepare to be blown away!

Packages start at $80; 2385 Camino del Rio North, Mission Valley
