Armada Drive, just East of Carlsbad’s Flower Fields, will be filled with art of all kinds on September 21 and 22. Fine artists working in all mediums and a wide range of prices, will show and sell their work in this beautiful venue, with its ocean breezes and sweeping views of the coastline. Free parking is abundant adjacent to the festival.
Launched in 2018 to introduce a high-quality fine art festival to North County, ArtWalk Carlsbad is produced by the team that brings Mission Federal ArtWalk to Little Italy each Spring. You’ll find both the familiar and the new at this two-day ticketed event, which includes more than 50 chalk artists creating masterpieces before your eyes on the asphalt.
A full line up of live music in two performance areas make the event a treat for the ears as well as the eyes. Headliner A.J. Croce, with a rare San Diego performance, brings his bluesy piano man style to the Main Stage on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. His concert is included in your ticket price. Also included with your ticket, is free admission during the two day event, to the adjacent Museum of Making Music.
Interactive art activities will be offered for families to help you connect with your inner Picasso.
Spend a few hours or the weekend. Street food options range from healthy to decadent, and two shaded wine and beer areas will be offered.
