National Philanthropy Day
Each fall, the San Diego Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) gathers civic leaders, volunteers, and philanthropists from throughout our region to celebrate the spirit of philanthropy at a National Philanthropy Day luncheon. Over the last 43 years, this luncheon has become the premier event for San Diego’s most committed philanthropists and community leaders to join together and honor their own. Last year more than 1,300 people participated in the celebration.
Join the San Diego Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and presenting sponsor, the Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at National University, as we celebrate National Philanthropy Day at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront on Monday, November 9th, 2015. National Philanthropy Day is a special day set aside each year to show appreciation for all that has been accomplished in the culture of philanthropy. It’s an opportunity to recognize the great contributions – and those people and organizations making the difference – which makes San Diego a great community.
