Say it With Flowers With a Green Greeting Card

One local San Diego-based company is making greeting cards greener. Grow-a-Note cards from the Greenfield Paper Company are made with an array of wildflower seeds embedded into the paper (which is hand-made from 100% reycled ingredients, with no chemicals, dyes, or additives). When you're ready to turn the card into a mini garden, all you need to do is plant it in soil, water it regularly, and watch it grow.
The company offers cards for all occasions, including birthdays, the holidays, and a large assortment of blank cards. You can also get gift tags, gift card holders, wedding cards, business cards, envelopes, and plain sheets of paper with wildflower seeds in them. Most cards are around $3.50 each, but you can save big by buying in bulk.
100% recycled gift wrap with soy-based inks is also available, including several designs suited for the holidays. With so many trendy designs to choose from (all at great prices), this local company makes it easy to go green this holiday season, without sacrificing style.
