A quick look at one of the many San Diego Magazine photographers and what they’re working on right now.

I’m From… Palmdale, CA (aka The Antelope Valley, aka Pompton, aka Pdizzle)

I started working for San Diego Magazine in… November of 2012

I’m currently shooting… interior architecture with the lovely San Diego Magazine, as well as Tecture Design + Build.  I just finished up a project photographing The Patio in PB.  They did like 95% of the design and fabrication that went into that space, it’s amazing

A personal project I’m working on is… HAHAHA, oh personal projects, what a dream!   I’m currently learning new bookkeeping software so I can do the studio books myself, does that count?  Although,  Becca (my partner) just shot a really fantastic men’s fashion editorial that got published, and I helped art direct, which I really enjoy.  So that was like a quarter of a personal project for me.

The San Diego Magazine assignment I am most proud of is… The home story we shot for the February 2013 issue, the owner of Fiji Water’s house in Rancho Santa Fe.  It’s rare to be able to shoot something so architecturally awesome and unique.  Plus, Doug and Annie were fantastic, they really let us do whatever we needed for the shoot.

My favorite issue of San Diego Magazine is… March 2013, because of all the neighborhoods. I’m in North Park, so it’s fun to get out and explore all of the other cool places that I wouldn’t have thought to check out. It’s a handy guide!

I’m inspired by… My photo-wife and partner in crime, Becca.  My parents, notably my Mom who kicked cancers ass not once but twice.

If I wasn’t a photographer, I’d be a… lady of leisure. I kid, i kid.  Maybe a high school teacher.  But I would want to be a lady of leisure, secretly 🙂
