Three new restaurants to try at World Eats 2018

Attendees of the 2nd annual event should make sure to check out An's Dry Cleaning, Cross Street Chicken & Beer and Louisiana Purchase
Cross Street Chicken & Beer

Celebrating San Diego’s global cuisine, our 2nd annual World Eats event returns to the Headquarters at Seaport Village on Tuesday, November 13. Our taste buds are getting pretty excited, so we thought we’d put together a sneak peek on a few new restaurants and breweries getting in on the fun this year.

Consider this your passport to World Eats:

An’s Dry Cleaning

Named best gelato in our Best Of San Diego issue, ADC Gelato (as those in the know call it), will be scooping up their small-batch, seasonal gelato on Tuesday evening. Be on the lookout for funky “fabrics” like Khaki Pants (earl grey, lavender, lemon), Kimono (jasmine, blueberry), and Gingham (coffee, orange).

Cross Street Chicken & Beer (serving chicken wings)

From our Best Restaurants issue, Cross Street Chicken & Beer was crowned critic’s pick for their outstanding Korean-style chicken wings. The wings and drumettes are twice-fried, resulting in an extra crispy skin with the juicy meat sealed inside. Don’t miss the sauces—the various dips are unique and worth standing in line for a taste.

Louisiana Purchase

Get your first taste of Louisiana Purchase, the New Orleans-style bar and restaurant popping up in North Park early next year. Rumor has it they’ll be serving up a Big Easy-inspired menu of Southern specialties that wouldn’t be out of place on Bourbon Street.
